Her upbringing was in a typical neighborhood and was a star in high school and in college. Apryl's musical talents were evident from an early stage of her life. She was driven by her passion and heart to accomplish her dream. Apryl was a part of the singing group, and it was her stepping stone to a new beginning. Apryl's passion and determination drove her to Los Angeles, the entertainment capital. As both girls relocated their girl group broke up. When they moved, Apryl made an appearance on American Idol. However, she was not able to make it to the top. Apryl tried to audition to be in Making the Band. However the audition did not go well for her. Apryl was also featured on Search For The Next Doll to be a part of the Pussycat Dolls. Apryl did not get chosen due to her inability to have a positive impression on judges. She went out on tours together with her replacement. They became involved, and were able to appear on the Vh1 popular TV show Hollywood being one of the show's original eight members of the cast. The premiere season follows the pregnancy and birth of their baby son Megaa Omari Grandberry. Season 2 explores her struggles over and fears concerning her new career. Omarion Was traveling at the time of recording the reunion episode from season two, didn't accompany Apryl. Apryl made it clear that she and her husband were leaving the show on December 7, 2015. They will not ever return to the show in the next season. The daughter of Apryl was born on 7 March 2016. Apryl, Omarion and their daughter A'mei Kazuko Grandberry announced that they had broken the four-month gap. Apryl appeared as a special appearance on the show's fourth season, meeting Lil' Fizz and discussing the possibility of a B2K reunion. Apryl returns to the show during Season 6, in which she reveals her custody struggles with Omarion and Omarion, along with the media's speculation and scrutiny of her relationships and Lil' Fizz. In season six they both admit they're romantically linked and put her in tension with Moniece and other cast members.
