Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American author and designer who has received numerous awards for her works. She is a proponent of animal rights. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway '72 are some of her most famous movies. New York was her home and she was raised in a creative environment. She began as a photo assistant and then moved on to modeling and acting. MacGraw was noticed in her first two movies and received Golden Globe Award for Most Promising Newcomer. MacGraw was a worldwide celebrity after her movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as a Golden Globe. After just three short films she was deemed the most successful female film in the history of box offices. In Grauman's Chinese Theater In 1972, she had her handprints and signature engraved. Some of the films she's been in include The Getaway Convoy Players as and the television miniseries The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography of hers, came out. MacGraw married three people.
