Sharni Vison, a native of Australia and a dancer and actress was born 22 July 1983 in Sydney Australia. In 201, she made her acting debut on an Australian soap opera called Home and Away. She was in a minor role for just two episodes. The show was able to select her for the lead role in the Australian soap opera Home and Away because her performance in this limited part was so impressive that the casting agents wanted her to play different parts. The actress was able to audition, but not get the role. On the exact same episode, Cassie Turner was cast in the role of a troubled teenage girl living in foster care.
