Sharni Vison, an Australian American dancer/actor, was born on the 22nd of July, 1983 in Sydney Australia. In 201, she made her acting debut on an Australian soap-opera called Home and Away. She had a tiny role in just two episodes. She was chosen to be the leading character on the soap opera in Australia Home and Away as her performance in this limited part was so captivating that the casting agents wanted to cast her in other roles. She auditioned however for the role but was not selected. Instead in the same show, she portrayed the character Cassie Turner, the teen with a history of trouble that was in foster care. Both the critics and fans who watched the show have praised the role she played.
